PEARL BOD Interview with Ian Trevino

What is your industry background?
I served (4) years in the United States Navy specializing in information systems, cryptic radio frequency communications and search and rescue operations. Upon my completion of duty, I joined CBIONE in 2001 and started my career in the electric power distribution business, specializing in circuit breakers in the last 25 years.

Why is it important to serve on the PEARL Board of Directors?
Since joining PEARL in 2020, I was able to learn the value in the organization and what it was designed to represent in the surplus equipment industry. My interest in joining the PEARL Board of Directors was to support and assist my industry colleagues enhance PEARL's position in the electric power and maintenance sector of our infrastructure.

What value does PEARL bring to the industry?
PEARL represents industry standards, professionalism, integrity, unity and reliability.

What do you like to do when you’re not immersed in electrical apparatus and equipment?
Outside my professional life, I dedicate my time to my family and enjoy traveling to different cities and outdoor areas of our country and traveling abroad to experience other countries and cultures around the world.
