PEARL INTERNET COMMITTEE REPORT
The Internet Committee met May 28 by telephone. Items discussed included removing the initial "splash page" on the website to allow for quicker, easier access to content. Also discussed at length was the need for a form so that customers and members could communicate with the entire PEARL membership at once. This tool will allow buyers and sellers of electrical equipment, as well as PEARL members who might be buying or selling to communicate with the whole group and will also encourage intra-PEARL business. The committee also reviewed the first draft of a proposed Wikipedia entry on the PEARL organization. The Committee hopes to have the Wikipedia listing posted in the next 30 days and a form online within 60 days. The Internet Committee is always looking for people who want to be involved or who have a suggestion. If you'd like to join the Internet Committee, please feel free to call chairman Bill Schofield at 1-800-232-5809.
